Over the last decade, Stonar has been consistently placed in the top 10% of schools for value added at both GCSE and A Level. The School is situated on a 90-acre rural site, twenty minutes from Bath, with pupils benefiting from the vast grounds to enjoy sport, outdoor education, and a busy weekend and evening activities programme. Forty percent of pupils make use of the School’s world-class onsite Equestrian Centre, from complete beginners to experienced competition riders. Three boarding houses provide a home-from-home for the 130 full boarders, offering a friendly and down-to-earth environment where pupils enjoy friendships across all ages and where their happiness and wellbeing are paramount.
Academically, the School offers particular strengths in the Sciences, Creative Arts and Computer Science. As part of the international Globeducate group, pupils benefit from a variety of opportunities to attend events in Europe which, combined with our progressive curriculum, ensures that everyone develops a global outlook.
