Felsted was named ‘Boarding School of the Year 2023’ by the prestigious Times Educational Supplement and it’s easy to see why. Not only does the school campus present 90 acres for children to explore (just an hour away from both London and Cambridge) but this is the setting for an education that is exciting and inspiring. The British curriculum is followed, with an option to study the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in the Sixth Form. Classes are small and each student is assigned an academic tutor who keeps track of progress. This individualised approach enables Felsted students to achieve places at top universities in the UK, Europe, the US and elsewhere in the world.

As well as focusing on their studies, Felsted students are encouraged to explore their talents and interests - whether sporting, creative, adventurous, or academic - and develop the interpersonal skills that will stand them in good stead in the global workplace. On campus are a state-of-the art music school, a fully equipped theatre and performance auditoria, playing fields, sports halls, pitches and courts, heated swimming pool and a professionally managed gym offering training programmes for elite sportsmen and women. The majority of Felsted Senior School students, aged 13 to 18, are boarders and a fifth of those are from families that are not based in the UK. The boarding houses
on campus are supportive communities in which students learn to live and work alongside other young people from around the world.

We welcome families from the Military Forces and those in receipt of the CEA will only pay 10% of our school fees.
